Wooden Pallet Drying Services for Rain-Exposed Pallets
Are your wooden pallets wet from rain or damp after storage? BC 1688 Wood Co., Ltd. provides heat-drying services to reduce moisture in wooden pallets for factories, warehouses, and businesses using wooden pallets for storage and transportation.
Why Does Pallet Moisture Matter?
Wooden pallets stored outdoors, exposed to rain, or kept in damp conditions may retain moisture inside the wood, even when the surface appears dry. This moisture can transfer to cardboard boxes or other packaging in direct contact with the pallets.
Drying helps prepare pallets for reuse. Their cleanliness, physical condition, and structural integrity should also be checked before use.
When Should You Consider Pallet Drying?
- Pallets exposed to rain during storage or handling
- Pallets that have absorbed moisture during storage
- Pallets requiring moisture reduction before loading or packing
- Pallets subject to customer moisture requirements that need assessment before processing
For flood-exposed pallets, please provide details about the water exposure and pallet condition before arranging service. Drying alone does not remove contaminants or repair damaged wood.
Information to Prepare Before Sending Your Pallets
To help us assess your requirements and plan the service, please provide:
- Pallet dimensions and quantity
- Photos and current condition, including rain exposure, dampness, or prolonged storage
- Your required completion date so we can check scheduling availability
- End-customer requirements, such as target moisture content or supporting documentation
Processing time and pricing depend on pallet quantity, dimensions, moisture condition, and job requirements. Please contact us before delivering your pallets.
